It was towards the end of a college year, and I wanted to make something nice for my brother and his girlfriend. They have been great in supporting me in all of my endeavors throughout my life and especially during college. I wanted to make them something personal and flex my artistic skills again. Luckily I found the Columbian Makerspace! I went to the space, got trained in the laser machine, and got to work forever etching some of my fondest memories with the both of them!
These art pieces were created using a Thunder Laser Nova51 and tiles of acrylic. I traced the pictures, and programmed the laser cutter to etch the outlines onto pieces of acrylic. Please enjoy these permanent and great memories of mine!
